i was checking out Mattl's piece "Cold Rain Days" and found that the first time i clicked the link, i got this: "Hotlink Prevention
Sorry, but free accounts cannot link directly to MP3 files. If this is your account you can click here to upgrade to a premium subscription that allows hot linking." The URL at the top of the error page is: http://f3music.com/song-2408-hifi.mp3
i checked out the hosting page and went back to Mattl's site and tried the link again and it played fine.
But when i used the link again, i got the above message. there is a thread in the music forum but i thought i'd bring it up here...
thanks...

So you only received that message when you tried to stream his song from another website correct? He doesn't have a premium account so this error is to prevent people from signing up with tons of free accounts that host songs remotely.

Hi FuN- no i was using the hifi link on his page here on this site when i got both results. This is the url i used to get to mattl's page: http://f3music.com/43 (this link was supplied on the other thread (music forum).
Thanks for your time, just trying to help.

Hi Joel, I see the error now. I will have to run a few tests to see why it is doing that. Thanks for your help

EDIT

OK, that was an easy fix. The www was left out from the url and that feature checks for that too. It should be fine now
